What Is XtremeHD IPTV Player?
XtremeHD IPTV Player is our own app, built from the ground up for XtremeHD IPTV UK subscribers. Unlike third-party players such as IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate, our app comes pre-configured with our server settings. That means you never need to enter a server URL, portal URL or M3U link. You open the app, type in your username and password, and your channels load within seconds.
The app is available on Android devices (phones, tablets and Android TV boxes) and Amazon Fire Stick. It is designed to work exclusively with XtremeHD IPTV subscriptions, which allows us to optimise every part of the experience — from stream delivery to the electronic programme guide.

What Makes XtremeHD Player Different
We built this app because we wanted subscribers to have the fastest, simplest path from sign-up to watching live TV. Here is what sets it apart from other IPTV players:
- One-step login — Just your username and password. No server URL, no portal address, no M3U link. Everything is pre-configured.
- Pre-configured EPG — The electronic programme guide works out of the box. You do not need to find or enter an EPG URL manually. Programmes, times and descriptions appear automatically alongside your channel list.
- Optimised streams — The app is tuned specifically for our CDN infrastructure. Channels load faster and buffering is reduced compared to generic IPTV players connecting to the same service.
- Clean interface — A straightforward channel list with categories, favourites and search. No clutter, no unnecessary menus, no confusing settings buried three levels deep.
- Regular updates — We push updates to fix bugs, improve performance and add new features. The app evolves alongside the service.
- Free — Included with every XtremeHD IPTV subscription at no extra cost. There are no premium tiers or in-app purchases.

Good to know: XtremeHD Player only works with XtremeHD IPTV subscriptions. If you use multiple IPTV providers, use IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate instead.
How to Install XtremeHD Player
The app is not listed on the Google Play Store or Amazon App Store. You install it using the download link included in your subscription confirmation email.
Amazon Fire Stick
- Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options.
- Enable Install Unknown Apps for the Downloader app.
- Open the Downloader app. If you do not have it, install it free from the Amazon App Store first.
- Enter the download URL provided in your subscription email.
- When the download completes, tap Install when prompted.
- Open XtremeHD Player from your apps list.
For a detailed walkthrough of sideloading apps on Fire Stick, including screenshots and troubleshooting tips, see our IPTV on Fire Stick guide.
Android Phone, Tablet or TV Box
- Download the APK file from the link in your subscription email.
- Open the downloaded file from your notifications or file manager.
- If prompted, tap Settings and allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager.
- Tap Install and wait for the process to complete.
- Open XtremeHD Player from your app drawer.
Important: Only download XtremeHD Player from the link in your official subscription email. Do not download from third-party websites. Unofficial copies may be outdated, modified or contain malware.
Logging In
Once the app is installed, logging in takes about ten seconds:
- Open XtremeHD Player.
- Enter your Username exactly as it appears in your subscription email.
- Enter your Password exactly as provided.
- Tap Login.
- Your channels load automatically, complete with the EPG programme guide.
That is it. No server URL, no portal URL, no M3U link. The simplest setup of any IPTV app available today.
Tip: If your credentials do not work, copy and paste them directly from your email. Even a single trailing space after your username or password will cause a login failure.
Recommended Settings
XtremeHD Player works well with its default settings, but you can fine-tune a few options for the best experience on your device and connection.
Stream Quality
Set this to Auto. The app automatically selects the best quality your connection can handle without buffering. Only switch to a fixed quality level if you have a specific reason to do so.
Buffer Size
Leave this on Medium for most connections. If you experience occasional freezing or stuttering, switch to High. The trade-off is a slightly longer delay when changing channels, but playback will be smoother once a channel locks in.
Player Engine
Use Hardware decoding for most devices. Hardware decoding offloads video processing to your device's dedicated chip, which is more efficient and produces less heat. If you see visual glitches, green screens or audio sync issues, switch to Software decoding as a fallback.
Notifications
Enable notifications to receive service updates, maintenance alerts and new feature announcements. We only send notifications when there is something genuinely useful to tell you.
Auto-Reconnect
Enable this setting. If a stream drops due to a brief network interruption, the app automatically reconnects without you having to do anything. This is especially useful on Wi-Fi connections that occasionally fluctuate.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Most problems have a quick fix. Work through the relevant section below.
App Will Not Install on Fire Stick
Check that Developer Options are enabled and that Install Unknown Apps is turned on for the Downloader app. Also check your Fire Stick's storage — go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Storage and make sure you have at least 200 MB free. If storage is full, uninstall apps you no longer use.
Login Failed
Verify that your username and password are entered exactly as they appear in your subscription email. Credentials are case-sensitive. Check that your subscription is still active and has not expired. For detailed help with login problems, see our login and authentication errors guide.
Buffering or Freezing
Switch the buffer size to High in settings. If possible, connect your device to your router with an ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi. Close any other apps or downloads running in the background. If your ISP throttles streaming traffic, use a VPN to bypass the restriction. Our full fix IPTV buffering guide covers every cause and solution.
EPG Is Empty
This should not happen with XtremeHD Player because the EPG is pre-configured. If your programme guide shows no data, the issue is likely on the server side. Wait 30 minutes and reopen the app. If the problem persists, contact support. Our EPG not loading guide has additional troubleshooting steps.
App Crashes
Clear the app cache on your device. On Fire Stick and Android, go to Settings > Apps > XtremeHD Player > Clear Cache. Make sure you are running the latest version of the app — check your subscription email for an updated download link if needed. Restart your device after clearing the cache.
